Bringing my speculative fiction mini books to life has been a bit of a journey over the past couple of years. I haven't been able to write and publish as many short story books, or as quickly, as I had originally planned.
But I'm still plugging away. And I intend to keep going, albeit still as a side project. However ... one of the ongoing issues is that most of my Canadian readers would like to order through Amazon. And for reasons unknown, that retailer does not ship these particular products to Canada. (They are printed in the US by Ingram Spark.) Every time a Canadian reader asks if they can grab one as an Amazon add-on, I have to disappoint them. It makes me sad too.
Because I offer them on Etsy and I ship worldwide, I haven't put as much time and effort into solving this issue as I'd prefer. I recently discovered an alternative in the form of Thrift Books. I have ordered from Thrift in the past and I highly recommend them.
Alternatively, I now have a bundle of my mini books available too, here on my website and via Etsy.
In the meantime, if you've read any of my mini books and are willing to review them on Amazon, please do so. My first mini book was available here in Canada. And I suspect the reason for the change is that they simply don't sell enough to warrant Amazon bringing them up to a warehouse here for re-distribution. I don't know for sure, but the Zon likes book reviews, so it could make a difference. Every little bit helps!
