I've been saving my @thewitchsfix Mystery Tarot Reading (from @houseofmisfit) for a special day, and what better time than Halloween? Not a day goes by that I don't think about the state of Hart Fabrications, so my question was, where do I go in 2025?
Four of Pentacles
"The Four of Pentacles represents holding onto resources, stability, and material security. It signifies a need to find balance between managing finances and being open to new opportunities."
Well, that certainly tracks. As a metalsmith, I am frugal with my materials purchases and I haven't made the jump to working exclusively in silver, primarily for financial reasons. As a writer, I rarely splurge on courses, workshops, and events. In both cases, I know a lack of a marketing budget holds my work back too.
Two of Cups
"Connect on, partnership, harmonious relationships. Signifies mutual understanding, shared emotions, and the potential for deep emotional bonds in love, friendship, or collaboration.
This is a funny spot for a card like the Two of Cups. I'm always looking for opportunities to collaborate with other makers and writers. Over the past couple of years, I've been rediscovering the world of literary festivals and events, one of which I got to attend with my dear friend @wilovic! If the universe wants to hook me up with a metalsmithing class this fall, I'm up for it!
The Star
"The Star card symbolizes hope, inspiration, and a bright future. It reflects a period of renewed optimism and inner illumination following past difficulties. The Star card is also a sign of hope against despair."
What an amazing card to visualize the potential abundance that 2025 could bring into my life! If I needed a sign to stay the course and keep honing my vision for my work, I think I'll take this card as the one.
